Abstract
In the Triangular Method, often used in sensory analysis, the subject has to select a stimulus from each tri-stimulus set presented. Results obtained under the instruction to select the odd stimulus are not inconsistent with those obtained under the instruction to select either the strongest or the weakest stimulus, as has been contended since a few decades. Keywords
