Abstract
A map with a resolution of 3′.0 × 3′.9 arc at 1.4 GHz of the supernova remnant HB21 is presented. The overall source structure is found to be adequately described by a thick shell model although there are regions where the shell is thin and unresolved. An upper limit of 7 per cent is placed on the polarization at this frequency. Possible emission mechanisms for a thick shell source of this type are discussed.
