Abstract
Eight of 216 psoriatic patients treated at The London Hospital with photochemotherapy (PUVA) have developed a total of twenty-five skin carcinomata. The type and site of tumour are discussed with special reference to the importance of PUVA compared with other risk factors. We suggest that a history of previous skin carcinoma, arsenic therapy or radiotherapy are relative contra-indications to PUVA therapy for psoriasis. This publication has 22 references indexed in Scilit:
