Abstract
A 6 MHz bandwidth surface acoustic wave spectrum analyser has been used to process digital signals from a photomultiplier in a laser Doppler anemometer. Good signal recovery is demonstrated in the photon noise limit; speed and flexibility over a wide range of frequency can be achieved. Keywords
