Abstract
Using phase cinematography the behavior of daughter chromosome groups in silkworm spermatocytes was investigated at telophase after exposure to ultraviolet microbeam partial irradiation. Cells that received partial, ultraviolet microbeam radiation in a restricted area at telophase moved rapidly from the irradiated pole to the non-irradiated opposite pole. Exposure of several other parts of the cell or the 2 poles in cells at telophase induced no such unusual behavior of the chromosomes. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
