Abstract
It is demonstrated that the magnitude of Jitter products in an auditory signal is directly related to listener judgements of roughness. The judgements of roughness are nearly a straight line function of the log of frequency variations around a given median frequency. How certain fluctuations in wave amplitude can contribute to listener judgements of roughness is also described.[long dash]Author. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
