Ethyl Chrysanthemumate as an Attractant for the Coconut Rhinoceros Beetle1

Abstract
Ethyl chrysanthemumate was as effective an attractant as chrislure (ethyl dihydrochrysanthemumate) for Oryctes rhinoceros (L.) when not exposed competitively with chrislure. Ethyl chrysanthemumate, which is commercially available, is now being employed in pilot programs for control of the beetle.
