Abstract
Calcific tendonitis is a difficult condition to treat. In this report we describe a new technique for imaging the deposit in complicated cases. Previously the patient had an unsuccessful operation due to difficulty in visualising the deposit. An ultrasound probe was inserted arthroscopically and the calcification detected and then removed, this was later confirmed on external ultrasound. Keywords
