Morphological and Behavioral Evidence for the Relationship Between the Bat Genus Brachyphylla and the Phyllonycterinae

Abstract
Evidence from morphological and behavioral investigations shows that the genus Brachyphylla, presently referred to the subfamily Stenoderminae, is more properly regarded as a phyllonycterine. Certain aspects of the natural history of Cuban phyllonycterines are discussed.
