Abstract
Siegfried, W. R. 1976. Sex ratio in the Cape Shelduck. Ostrich 47:113-116. The quaternary sex ratio was found to favour females in the Cape Shelduck Tadorna cana. This finding is discussed in relation to the species' “reversed” sexual courtship and plumage di morphism. Keywords
