Efficient harmonic generation of CO2 laser radiation in thallium arsenic selenide

Abstract
CO2 laser energy is converted into the second harmonic with ∼28% efficiency and the third with ∼5.5% efficiency. No significant change in conversion efficiency was observed at up to ∼3 W/cm2 of average 9.6 μm intensity.
