Abstract
A report is presented of a typical unilateral case of idiopathic congenital peripapillary scleral ectasia. The biometric study of this eye gave the following values: depth of the anterior chamber 2.92 mm; curvature radius of the cornea 7.00 and 7.35 mm; sagittal diameter of the lens 3.43 mm; length of the vitreous 23.09 mm at the level of the ectasia, 17.10 mm outside the ectasia; axial length of the globe 30.16 mm at the level of the ectasia, 24.17 mm outside the ectasia; total refraction of the globe 61.50 diopters; refraction of the lens 14.50 diopters. The fellow eye has normal values.Keywords
