Abstract
By observing the current in a superconducting coil required to levitate a superconducting body and, separately, the voltage induced when the body is moved with the current still flowing, the electrical and mechanical units of power can be related to realize the ampere in a way which avoids errors arising from unaccounted dissipative work. Keywords
