Abstract
The dynamic-local-field approximation has been modified to accommodate dilute atomic-H impurities in solid . The impurities are assumed to occupy substitutional sites. Calculated properties of the atomic impurities include the single-particle-distribution function, the root-mean-square fluctuations about the equilibrium position, and the lattice distortion.
