Abstract
This paper introduces a technique for the synthesis of nonlinear discrete-data control systems to fulfill an optimal performance criterion. The synthesis procedure is developed by use of the state-transition method. Digital compensation is designed for the nonlinear system to have deadbeat performance. The technique presented permits the use of a digital computer to carry out the design of optimum control.Keywords
