Abstract
The unique reaction of carboxylic acids with isocyanates has made it possible to incorporate polyamide into some new thermoplastic elastomers such as PEA and PEEA. With these high melting, semicrystalline, hard segments, these elastomers have excellent thermal properties and higher application temperature ranges. Because of their easy processability, these polymers can be injection molded or extruded for a great variety of applications with conventional equipment. Keywords
