Abstract
A family of models which interpolates between the separable models and the Sherrington-Kirkpatrick (S.K.) model is introduced. This allows a better understanding of the differences between separable and non-separable models, in particular as concerns the extensivity of the logarithm of the characteristic function of the random couplings, the breaking of the replica symmetry and the nature of the order parameters. This family contains true spin glass models with adjustable parameters which might account for the experimental situation better than the S.K. modelKeywords
