Abstract
The authors present an analysis of three phase DC to AC inverters with general deterministic pulse width modulations having randomized pulse positions within the modulation intervals. The analytical formulations for both the harmonic power spectrum and the continuous power spectral density are plotted for the often-used trapezoidal modulation, and these are compared with scope traces showing the actual microprocessor implementation of the scheme. Keywords
