Abstract
Three processes of heat and mass transfer taking place in transpiration cooled turbine blades are discussed. New calculation methods for determining heat and mass transfer characteristics of porous blades with rough surfaces are described for the coolant flow inside the pore canals of the porous skin and in internal passages between the skin and the ribs of the strut. Keywords
