Abstract
The product state distribution of the fragment I2* that is produced when an I2–rare gas van der Waals molecule dissociates has been used to measure the binding energies of I2He*, I2Ne*, and I2Ar*. The binding energies D0 for these three van der Waals molecules were determined to be 13.6–14.8, 65–67, and 220–226 cm−1, respectively. Keywords
