Abstract
The mating habits of Drosophila pseudoobscura have been studied by exposing females of known chromosomal constitution to males whose chromosomes were also known. Although the females repel all males for some hours after a copulation, they often mate again within 5 to 15 days. A batch of eggs deposited by a female may be fertilized by the sperms of more than a single male. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
