Abstract
The extraction of G. lanceola with hot water afforded a sulfated polysaccharide which, on acid hydrolysis, gave D-galactose, glucose, 2-O-methyl-galactose and 6-O-methyl-galactose. The bulk of the polysaccharide is composed of D-galactose, 3,6-anhydro galactose and sulfate in the approximate molar proportion of 9:2:8.This publication has 9 references indexed in Scilit:
