Abstract
This is a summary of work on colchicine-induced polyploids of a white-flowered race of M. dioicum. It is concluded that the Y chromosome carried [male]-determining elements, contrary to the situation in Drosophila and Rumex, where this chromosome plays no role in primary sex determination.This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
