Abstract
Field testing of a large number of synthetic compounds and combinations thereof revealed that male moths of the variegated cutworm, Peridroma saucia (Hübner), were attracted to combinations of Z -9-tetradecen-1-yl acetate and Z -11-hexadecen-1-yl acetate. The greatest number of males were attracted to ratios of 1:1 to 1:2 and this attractant may be improved by the inclusion of anyone of E 9-14:OH, E 9-14:Ac, E 11-14:OH, or E 11-16:OH.This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
