Abstract
The temperature derivative of the second virial coefficient is calculated with spherical boundary conditions for an () Mie potential, with even . The formalism is valid for all potentials with even, regardless of their short-range form. The convergence of the considered quantity with diminishing curvature towards its Euclidean value is displayed and coefficients for a respective expansion are given.
