Abstract
This report of a prospective study lends further evidence to a previous finding that serum lactic dehydrogenase levels are elevated in primary carcinoma of the ovary. Levels of this enzyme in the proper context appear valuable in the diagnosis, treatment and follow-up study of patients with primary carcinoma of the ovary.
