Abstract
In 2 in vitro models for evaluating antipsoriatic activity, dithranol (anthralin) and triacetoxyanthracene were compared. Both compounds exhibited an about equal effect on O2 consumption of surviving human skin. Dithranol exerted a stronger inhibiting effect on glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase activity of human skin homogenates. This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
