Potential ofF−in NaBr

The potential of an ${\mathrm{F}}^{-}$ substitutional impurity ion in NaBr was calculated for off-center displacements along the , , and crystallographic directions. The results are not in agreement with Rollefson's interpretation of his NaBr:${\mathrm{F}}^{-}$ experimental data.
