Abstract
The viscosity of liquid contained in a 45-μm-high chamber has been studied. The slip correction and a clearly defined maximum in the effective viscosity are resolved in this experiment. The magnitude of the slip correction and the position of the maximum in the effective viscosity are found to be in disagreement with recent theoretical work.
