Abstract
Incubation of vit. Bc conjugate from yeast, takadiastase, or in crystalline form, at 37oC with human blood plasma results in the liberation of pteroylglutamic acid from the conjugate in amt. proportional to the concn. of plasma. Boiling the plasma prevents the conjugase activity. The activity is the same in blood from normal, pernicious anemia, and other pathological subjects, but is lower in some asystolic patients. Keywords
