Abstract
Organizations where one worker feeds data and another uses the data can experience serious data feeding problems. This article proposes a model that helps MIS managers understand the data feeding problem by describing its causes and effects. Three case studies show how the model can help MIS managers avoid selecting incorrect solutions. The article also offers practical recommendations and structured tools to diagnose and minimize the damage of data feeding problems. Keywords
