Abstract
Spontaneous subarachinoid hemorrhage in 56 Thai infants and children is reported. The causes were hemorrhagic disorders in 22, arteriovenous malformations and aneurysms in 18, gnathostomiasis, in 9, bleeding tumors in 4, hypernatremia in 1 and undetermined in 2 cases. Coagulation studies and CSF examination for eosinophils are recommended before further invasive studies in such cases. This publication has 10 references indexed in Scilit:
