Abstract
Results of 170 reduction mammoplasties are reported: 40 were operated by the Strombeck technique and 130 by a technique described by the authors. The most frequent complication was blood loss. With the latter operative technique only 4 partial necroses (1.2%) of the areola, but no complete slough, were observed. The results of a questionnaire confirmed the objective findings that reduction of a breast exceeding 600 cm3 must be considered a medical indication. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
