The Attachment of Honeybee Comb to Sloping Hive Sides and Side-Bars of Frames

Abstract
Summary The tendency for bees to attach comb to sloping side-bars of frames diminished with increase in their angle of slope. Bees were less inclined to attach comb to the sides of a hive provided with top-bars, if the sides were sloping, irrespective of the angle of slope, but the distance from the top of the comb to the upper end of attachment increased with the angle of slope.
