Abstract
The effect of the edge material and the wavelength on wide-angle diffraction was investigated with a sensitive photomultiplier photometer. Measurements of as little as 10−8 fraction of the incident light at an angle of 70° showed the effect on the intensity and polarization of the diffracted light due to the nature of the edge material and depending on the wavelength used. Keywords
