Abstract
The haemostatic property of carbon-dioxide laser radiation has been compared with conventional cutting diathermy for experimental partial hepatectomy. The superiority of the laser in reducing haemorrhage from the liver is demonstrated, and possible clinical applications are suggested.Keywords
