Abstract
Human growth hormone (0.2 mg/kg) produced no significant metabolic effect in children with kwashiorkor or marasmus when given during the 2nd week of dietary rehabilitation. A larger dose failed to mobilize free fatty acids before dietary treatment began. This publication has 18 references indexed in Scilit:
