Abstract
The patient presented with an acute cerebrovascular episode and a swelling in the neck; she died within 36 hours. At necropsy, there was carcinoma of thyroid, with metastasis to lungs and lymph nodes, tumor embolism of the left middle cerebral artery, and extensive infarction of the left cerebral hemisphere.Keywords
