Abstract
Twenty-two out of 520 males (4.23%) and 1 of 516 females (0.19%) tested were found to be color blind in the Newars of Nepal Valley. In the total Newar Male series the ratio of protan and deutan is 1:4.5. There is no difference in this trait among different groups of Newars. The Newars show a closer affiliation to the Kumaonis of India. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
