Antibodies Reacting with Steroid Haptens

Abstract
Summary: Rabbits were immunized with conjugates of cholanic acid-albumin and of cholesterol-albumin. The antisera obtained reacted with 9 and failed to react with 5 of the 14 different steroids tested. The possible biologic significance of antisteroid antibodies is discussed.
