Psychopathy and verbal conditioning.

Abstract
The experiment was designed to study the effects of reinforcer status upon the conditioning of psychopaths (N = 46) and normal (N = 54) incarcerated naval personnel. Social reinforcements were given by 2 graduate students and 2 exconvicts, the conditioning procedure being that outlined by Taffel (1955). While there were neither significant E [experimenter] nor role-playing effects, results did indicate that psychopaths were influenced by positive social approval, thus contradicting previously obtained results.
