Reduction of line cusp leak width accompanying a suppression of very broad low frequency noise

Abstract
Low frequency wide-band noises below 5 MHz spontaneously excited around plasma boundaries near a line cusp were suppressed by the positive bias to a mesh inserted at the cusp with a result of marked reduction of leak width to a value of the order of the hybrid diameter.Keywords
