Abstract
The evaporation and ignition processes of a single CWS droplet have been investigated. Several simplified models describing these processes are established and it is shown that theoretical calculat ion s agree with the experimental results under various conditions. These models can be used to estimate the heating, evaporation and ignition times and also to determine the ignition temperature of a single CWS droplet.Keywords
