Abstract
Using techniques for cloning skin epithelial cells in-situ in mice, it is possible to estimate the radiosensitivity of these cells in oxygen at 3 atmospheres, in air, and in anoxia. The effect of anesthe-sia on the aerobic radiosensitivity is discussed. The data are compared with those obtained from observation of the gross response of skin and with results of irradiation in-vivo of other cell types. An estimate of oxygen tension within epithelial cells of mouse skin is made. This publication has 27 references indexed in Scilit:
