A pocket calculator determination of energy eigenvalues

Abstract
The radial Schrodinger equation is converted to a recursive equation which can be treated satisfactorily by a programmable pocket calculator. Specimen calculations show that the eigenvalue error varies very smoothly with the integration step width h. The method is applied to a problem for which the traditional energy perturbation series is apparently divergent asymptotic.Keywords
