Clinical Tolerance of Olsalazine

Abstract
Experience of 804 patients treated with olsalazine has shown that this new 5-ASA based drug has a safe clinical profile and good tolerance. The only common side-effect was loose stools or overt diarrhoea, which necessitated withdrawal of the drug in 6.3% of the patients.Keywords
