Abstract
Of 147 study participants (attending a medical association meeting in Miami, Florida, USA), 3 (2%) developed diarrhea between 24 h after their arrival and the end of the convention. Salmonella derby was isolated from 1, Trichuris trichiura from another and no enteric pathogens were isolated from the 3rd patient. The role of sanitary conditions, especially food handling, in the incidence of this disease is discussed. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
