Abstract
The present study focuses on the experiential learning process for the purpose of assessing each of the four stages of the Kolb "et al." model on the basis of relative levels of perceived trainee learning which each generates. The timeliness of this investigation is apparent in that while this model has become a widely used tool in both the design and use of management training materials, little attention has been given to how learning takes place via the experiential learning situation (Kolb and Fry, 1975). Acquiring a better understanding of the learning effects of each of these four stages should be a significant step toward evolving an experiential learning environment wherein learning is maximized.
