Work in progress: percutaneous transhepatic electrocutting of stenoses after hepaticojejunostomy.

Abstract
A new technique for diathermic incision of stenosed biliary-intestinal anastomoses using a papillotome and high-frequency current is described. The method was applied successfully and without complication in 3 patients. Despite effective cutting in 1 patient, multiple residual calculi impacted in the intrahepatic bile ducts necessitated later removal of the stones surgically.
