Abstract
Transplantable mouse adenocarcinoma 63 was irradiated, in vivo in mouse flank, in vitro removed from host under sterile conditions and cultured by hanging drop technic. [gamma] Ray doses of 198 r were delivered in all cases, in exposures of 18 mins. The radiation effects were assessed by counting all dividing cells and classifying them according to phases, and by determining the mitotic and degenerative index. Effects were qualitatively and quantitatively similar in vitro and in vivo. Recovery was more rapid in vivo. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
